On July 14, 2022 The Provincial Secretary Rev. Canon Capt. William Ongeng and The Principal of Bbira Vocational Training Institute Mrs. Nankanja Juliet Ngabirano received a key Donor and a funding partner for Orphans and Vulnerable Youth from Bread for the World (BftW) in Berlin Germany Ms. Eva Klitzsch who works as the program officer for East Africa and Horn of Africa Desk
The Project started in 2007 and it has supported over 1,908 youth with skills in diffrent trades of Catering, Tailoring, Carpentry and Joinery , Building section, Electrical Installation, Hairdressing, Plumbing, Motor vehicle mechanics among others . at the end of the training, Youths are given start up tool kits to aid them start up their own enterprises
Currently the Institute through Church of Uganda is currently implementing a Vocational Training for Vulnerable Youth training both Certificates and Diplomas, Youths are got from Dioceses of Kitgum , Lango, West Lango and Northern Uganda Dioceses
